These are comments that we hear about the sometimes confusing feed called Renew Gold ®

First, you need to understand that horses did not evolve to eat very much starch and sugars in their diet. There was no place in nature that they could stop at the grain pile, so large grain-based feed inclusions are not natural. So how do we supply needed nutrition without that unnatural grain load?

Renew Gold does this in two ways:

First it provides quality nutrition in a very dense feed that only requires one to one and one half pounds per day to provide energy needs beyond that supplied by your horses roughage.

 

Second, by eliminating high starch and sugars from grain-based feed, your horse can digest the biggest and safest part of the diet, its roughage, hay or pasture much more completely. By greatly improving the digestion of the roughage, your horse captures calories that were passing through the digestive system to the ground before. When it catches and uses these previously lost calories you no longer need to try to provide them with high grain base feed calories.

In other words, Renew Gold optimizes the digestive system and allows you to take out the disruptive roadblocks that grain causes.
