Alfalfa Hay Pellets can completely replace the forage in any animal’s diet. When Feeding Mountain Sunrise Feed Alfalfa Hay pellets, Horses are recommended be fed 1% to 1.5% of their body weight in total feed per day, divided into at least 2 feedings.
Example: A 1000lb horse would require 10-15lbs of total feed per day, comprised of 1-3lbs of supplemental feed plus 9-12lb of Mountain Sunrise Alfalfa Hay Pellets.
